A colour reader designed to easily collect colours from surfaces, textiles and everything else that might inspire, having it instantly readable in your smart phone.

The Colour Reader

NCS Colourpin II connects to smart phones with Bluetooth®, it is the follow-up to NCS Colourpin, and has been updated with a range of new features. Besides its small format – no bigger than a photo roll, Colourpin II comes with improved measurement accuracy and smart share functions.

The App

The Colourpin app is downloadable from App Store and Google Play, featuring a range of new functions making the transition from inspiration to colour information seamless. Besides providing closest NCS Notation match along with CMYK, RGB, L*a*b* and lightness values, the app features a test function for colour difference between objects. Creating colour palettes for sharing in social media has furthermore been updated with a new user friendly design. The app features a handy export function of colour palettes in ASE file format for the Adobe® Cloud programs, which makes it easier than ever to work digitally with inspiration.
