Discover String Furniture on NCS+
We’re proud to welcome String Furniture to NCS+, the digital platform that connects colour and material at the earliest stages of design. Their timeless, modular storage systems are now available for architects and designers to explore and specify by colour – making it easier to align storage solutions with materials, palettes and the overall visual direction of a space.
Colour at the core
From the iconic String System to the monochrome boldness of Pira G2 and the refined palette of Center Center, colour has always been central to String Furniture’s design philosophy. Having worked with NCS Design Tools and insights for many years, the move to NCS+ is a natural next step. By joining NCS+, their collections become even more accessible – ready to explore, specify and integrate by colour across any project.
“NCS is one of the most trusted institutions and go-to resources when it comes to colours for interiors and product design. Which is why we are very excited to give interior designers, architects and professionals the opportunity to start with colour when exploring our range.”
– Bo Hellberg, Chief Marketing Officer at String Furniture

The collections of String Furniture available on NCS+
Each collection brings a distinct character. The String System, created in 1949, is a timeless classic with a versatile palette. Pira G2, reimagined in 2023, offers bold structure in a strictly monochrome finish. Center Center, launched in 2024, brings minimalist function and a refined colour range for modern workspaces. Now part of NCS+, designers and architects gain access to accurate colour data and a streamlined workflow.
"Welcoming String Furniture to NCS+ reflects our ambition to support more dimensions of interior design. Their collections bring structure, flexibility and timeless design to the platform."
– Therese Carlström Stein, Marketing Director, NCS Colour
