Hue. Position in the NCS colour circle.
The hues Y–R leads. Y20R is a yellow (Y) with 20% red (R) in it.

NCS S 2050-R90B

Nuance. Position in the NCS colour triangle.
5005 and 2050 repeat. Nuance 2050 has 20% blackness and 50% chromaticness.
