About the NCS Colour Translation
As a customer, it is important to be aware that an exact translation is difficult to obtain. This is due to the fact that most colour systems are different from one another and can vary in for example; the number of colours included, gloss or effect colour. We translate to the visually closest notation of the requested colour system. Normal colour vision and the ability to see small colour differences is a fundamental ability for personnel involved in colour control.

The service is delivered in a colour definition report sent to you by email and includes the original notation, nearest matching notation in requested system and a comment if the colour deviation is
considered notable.
